Keep Cozy This Christmas With a Slippers Giveaway From Daniel Green!

Posted by in Everything Else on / 41 Comments

I love slippers, but I haven’t owned a pair I liked in years. I could almost hug the awesome gal who sent me a pair of Daniel Green Jordyn Slippers for review consideration. These are the warmest, softest, prettiest slippers I have ever worn!!

**I received a complimentary pair of these slippers.**
**My opinions are my own.**

Daniel Green creates high quality shoes and slippers using beautiful and long lasting materials like fleece, leather, heavy duty stitching, and soft, flexible rubber that won’t crack or fall apart over time.

I was given a pair of Daniel Green Jordyn Slippers in purple, in women’s size eleven. These are extremely comfortable slippers! They are super soft and warm, they breathe well, and they are really pretty. The opening is comfortably snug, but has a little give to it, making them easy to get on and off. The suede ties are mainly decorative, but they do tighten, should you want a little snugger fit on top. These slippers are made of decadent Italian leather, with a whip-stitched suede mud guard. Combine that with a soft and flexible rubber sole, and these are good indoor/outdoor slippers during good weather (I wouldn’t personally wear them outside if it’s wet or super dusty, and yuck will stick to them the same as to any other kind of shoe).

The slippers are a little narrow for my feet, but that’s my fault – I asked for my size, but forgot to specify that I wanted “wides”. All sizes come in “narrow”, regular, and “wide”. Because they are not wide enough for me, I get a slightly awkward ridge down both sides of my sole, but the soft cushiony insole is plush enough that it only bothers me if I’m doing a lot of walking on them, and even then it doesn’t rub, it just feels weird. I am certain that if I had requested the correct size, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.

You can pick up a pair of Daniel Green Jordyn Slippers in a variety of colors for $60.00 on their website. You can see the full Daniel Green slipper selection here.

  1. Nice looking slippers! I think I prefer the Jordyn style, but all look good. I love the colors, too. I’d have a hard time choosing! I’d probably pick purple or blue, but the red is nice, too.

    1. I totally understand. It took me almost an hour of going back and forth to finally decide on purple over red. Now I want a 2nd pair in red! #lol

I hate wearing shoes. I could live in either bare feet or slippers. These would be great! I hope I win. ;0) ….. from Debbie Johanesen

    1. I know, I prefer not to wear anything with a lot of structure on my feet, if I can help it, either.

I used to have a pair of slippers I really loved – they were from LLBean, and they lasted over a decade. Now I need to replace them.

    1. Wow, ten years is a long time for any footwear to last. That’s impressive!

  6. I like the Daniel Green Abigail Slipper. They’re all cute though!

  7. Oooh, that’s a pretty one, too!

I stay warm in winter by adding layers and keeping a nice, cozy throw on our couch to snuggle under while watching t.v.

    1. Aren’t throws just the best? I usually get a new one each year to add to our collection, but didn’t last year, and haven’t yet this year. I’ll have to get on that!

I start getting cold in October and don’t thaw out until Spring! I have to layer and use a space heater at my feet just to try and stay warm. I love these slippers! But I cannot decide between the purple and the red! Awesome giveaway, Thanks! 🙂

    1. Aww, poor girl! I tend to run hot, but my sister-in-law is like you, and I always feel so bad when she’s cold.

To keep warm, I wear tons of layers and slippers, and always have a blanket wrapped around my shoulders. When I go outside in snowy weather, I look like I’m in the Arctic! Scarf, hat, earwrap, gloves, thick coat, boots – I don’t like to be cold!

    1. I don’t like being cold, either, but thankfully I tend to run warm. I’m also kinda lazy about bundling… #lol

Yes, I have a pair of slippers that I absolutely but unfortunately I’ve been loving them for a decade now and they have a big hole where the big toe goes on one of the feet so they just aren’t working for me anymore which is why I’m here trying to win a new, comfy, warm pair of slippers to keep my feet warm. 🙂

    1. Aww, bless ? It’s hard to lose favorite things! Good luck!

  18. I like the Daniel Green Hailey Slippers. Right now I wear Tamarack Galaxie bootie slipperrs.

I have to buy new slippers a couple times a year because I wear them out so much. I don’t have a favorite right now, but would love to try these out and hopefully get a new favorite!!

    1. Good luck! I barely remember to wear slippers unless my feet are super cold, so mine tend to last forever.

  20. I also like the Daniel Green Cecilia Booties

I stay warm in snowy weather by ALWAYS having a travel mug of either hot coffee or hot tea with me when I go out, whether it is walking or driving! I am also a firm believer in those headband/earband things. If my ears are warm, the rest of me is fine. If my ears are cold, it doesn’t matter how bundled up the rest of me is, I’m miserable.

    1. I should really try one of those ear wrap things. I hate hats, because they crush my already wild and barely manageable hair into absolute chaos, but I’ll bet one of those would work pretty well!
