MY REVIEW

What a great little app! My four year old daughter loved it, and was excited to put her preschool skills to the test with the colorful and engaging characters and songs. I love that it’s set up like a game, so in order to advance you have to complete all five game “lessons” in each step before it will let you try a new, harder concept. Very good for learning things in order, and building new skills on top of existing skills; no skipping around and getting confused. I also like that it’s not annoying, like some apps for children. My only complaint is the price, which is also the only reason I gave this four stars instead of five. It seems a bit steep for a monthly subscription, especially since it only covers one subject. But other than that, I think it’s a valuable and fun educational tool, and I think it’s great that it spans ages 3 to 7. This makes it versatile, lasting one child quite a while, but also potentially usable by multiple children, made possible by the option to create multiple child profiles in parent mode. I’ll definitely be looking into more games by this company, especially if the price becomes more practical.
