Thanks to the chaos of the last two years, I have lots of great photos and stories sitting in the archives of my computer that have never been told. I’m sick of missing out on sharing our lives with you because things got in the way, and stories became outdated before I could get to them. This is a family lifestyle blog, guys! And…where’s my family?? Missing. Well, I’m done with that, and I’m jumping on the Throwback Thursdays bandwagon to help me tell these stories without (hopefully) confusing people by jumping all over the calendar for the last two years.
Nick and I took Serenity to a local park, and met up with his sister, Kristine, and her family. Uncle Thomas helped Serenity go down the slide for the first time…
…and Daddy caught her at the bottom! Sixteen months old, and her love affair with slides was born.
Our nephew, Nico, was quick to follow Serenity up the play structure!
Meanwhile, Kristine and I hung out in the grass with her little Talia. At only nine months old, she was too little to hang out with the bigger kids, but that didn’t stop her from being a goober and crawling all over the place by us.
Look at those cute little cheeks!! ?
Cinda and Nico wasted no time in wrangling their Uncle Nick to push them on the tire swing – not that it was hard to convince him! #wink We’ve both got a serious soft spot for these little guys.
Every time Talia swung close to her mom, she would start chortling. Too cute!!
Serenity was a HUGE fan of the bucket swing! Almost as much as she was a fan of her Fruity Trudy Cow Wow milk. There was quite the meltdown when it was finally time to go home.
It’s closing in on summer again, here, and we’ve already been to the park twice. Nick and I are looking forward to making fun at the park a daily thing – there’s a great park only blocks from us! – just as soon as the temperatures and windchill cooperate. #lol Yay, for family fun!
Do you go for walks or to the park with your kids when the weather’s nice?
