and Starbucks. I received a promotional item and a gift card to facilitate my review.
I’m feeling pretty proud of myself this year, because I not only remembered Mother’s Day in time to do something about it for my mom and for my mother-in-law, but I actually DID something. Sad? You betcha. But hey! At least I try.
Thanks to Mom Central, I was able to take my mother-in-law and sister-in-law out for Mother’s Day today! They sent me a complimentary gift card to Starbucks to try out the Teavana Oprah Chai Tea with someone special to me. I chose to try mine as a blended drink – it was delicious!! You can also get it as a hot or iced beverage.
My mother-in-law, Cindy, is the bomb, guys. She’s funny and smart, and best of all she’s treated me with love and respect since the first day I came into her life – even though my husband kind of blindsided his entire family with a serious girlfriend out of the blue. I am extremely blessed to be able to call my mother-in-law my friend, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to take her out today.
Kristine is my sister-in-law, and she’s also one my very closest friends. I’m glad she could come with me today, because she’s the mother of my precious nieces and nephew (and another on the way!!), and I think that’s definitely something to celebrate. And we always have fun hanging out!
Thank you, Mom Central, for helping make my day-before-Mother’s Day special, and for the opportunity to try out the new Teavana Oprah Chai Tea! This stuff is SUPER AWESOME DELICIOUS, and I love it!! They also sent me a pretty orange mug with metal tea infuser insert, and to my shock my husband (who has NEVER had a hot beverage since I’ve known him) has actually had tea with me TWICE, with more to come! Totally makes my day, ya’ll.
One cool thing to note about this new Starbucks and Teavana offering is that for every sale of Teavana Oprah Chai Tea product, they’ll make a donation to Oprah’s Leadership Academy Foundation, that benefits youth through educational opportunities. You can learn more about that, and a ton of fun tea-related stuff, at www.SteepYourSoul.com ?
You’ll also want to note that Starbucks is offering a Buy One Get One FREE offer tomorrow, for Mother’s Day!
What’s your favorite Starbucks drink?
Do you think you’ll take advantage of Starbucks’ BOGO deal, tomorrow?
